Over the last 13 years, DFN has assisted over 100 clients, most from the greater Hartford and Charlotte areas. DFN receives most of their clients from referrals from Jewish Family Services (CT & NC), Jewish Federation of Greater Hartford & local synagogues. Although the organization’s mission is to help Jews in need, approximately 25% of its clients are of other (non-Jewish) faiths as it is the founders’ wish to never turn anyone away if they can help in some way.
